ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH
This year Lambda Sigma Sigma raised $1046 for the walk. Sigma Gamma Rho is a Silver Level National Team and has collectively raised $88,016 so far. Our partnership with St. Jude is affords us the opportunity to assist in providing support to help ensure that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food while their child is undergoing treatment.
2018 Voter Registration Drive
It is paramount that everyone has an adequate opportunity to make their voice heard. Equally important, is that resources are available to those in the community who may need assistance in making sure that happens. To ensure the community we serve was registered to vote, especially during such a critical time, the women of the Lambda Sigma Sigma chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., in conjunction with the Rho Sigma Lambda brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., hosted a Voter Registration Drive. The Voter Registration drive took place on September 22nd in McDonough from 12-4pm. It was an amazing accomplishment to register just one citizen to vote, and through this drive, 12 men and women were registered to vote, just in time for such a historical election in our state.
